The lighting in this place is spectacular. The Word is often a little too quiet though, despite the great interior and friendly staff and good music, its often closed to public for functions, meaning that its a risk to attempt visiting, making it hard to grow in loyal patrons as you often get turned away due to a function. Would love to see this place thrive a bit more.

Soulclap on a Saturday, really heats up the Dancefloor Peril, A- Style, Simon Sez, Hoesty and Surreal What more can you want..
Laid back vibe, everyones always easy to get along with. Good drinks, bar staff are excellent.

Richly decorated with wooden floors and brown brick archways. The word is an intriguing place if you know where to find it.
Can be a little quiet at times, and no real sense of identity with it's crowd, mostly made up of out of towners, or suits looking to let their hair down after work.

A lovely place with great atmoshere and staff, sometimes DaTruth you should remember that the venue reflects its patrons!

This venue does not know what it want to be, a bar, a club, a restaurant, a corporate venue.... and because of this ite suffers badly. Sometimes, you cant, and should not try to, cater to all crowds
