If there is a sporting event you would like to watch and you and your friends are trying to decide what to do, The Turf Bar could be the answer. With two large screens, three plasmas and sports memorabilia all over the walls, it would be hard not to get into the cheering spirit when any major sporting event is being televised.
However, this beautiful Victorian style pub is not to be categorised as a sporting pub alone, as it also seems to be popular for after work drinks, a few beers with friends or a traditional pub meal.
The Turf Bar has a very warm and inviting feel, with the bar placed in the center of the room, surrounded by cosy corners at the front of the pub and pool tables towards the back. The Turf Bar has a wide selection of beers (over 20) and a good-sized seating area for diners, some of which transform into a dance floor at night.

GET MONEY OUT FIRST :D 4/5 tara - 14/07/08 This is a lovely bar. I love the atmosphere, decor and music, there were even private booths where my friends and I could sit and chat. The only thing is - we were the only girls in the place - it was a Thursday night and it was dead... how come it's so quiet? I will be back on a Friday night - apparently their busiest night. 3/5 L - 02/09/06 Good for an early dance to good old 80's music with regular cheap drink offers - great place to get started! 4/5
