Bloody expensive but a good range of delicious beers. Imported beers are fantastic but so goddamn expensive and i wanna get drunk so i wanna order more and drink more of the super duper beer that is available if only it were cheaper in this economic crisis ya know. Peace!

Too many lechers and rooters out to deceive, hook in girls, root them then toss them out like rubbish.
Otherwise this place is good, busy and central location, a great view of the yarra and the city skyline.

mature place with nice stuff yes a little overpriced but its the city.FREE entry they got to make there money some where! the only thing that would move this club from great to fantastic is the music and dance space but over all its great and ill be going again.

A great place to start a big night out, plenty of cabs, and your smack bang in the city. Very touristy but who cares. The only problem is there is not enough dance floor space when they start playing the delicious 80's music.

Great location, loved the straightener in the girls toilets (genius!!!)...
but let down by some of the staff - one of the bouncers inside was incredibly rude: instead of asking a couple of us to move away from the bar nicely, he started the convo with "look, listen here..." - completely unnecessary. also got repeatedly run into by one bussie in particular... but apart from that, a pretty good meeting point for a great nite out

It's in Fed Square, so it's never going to have that "underground" vibe that other bars do, but who says that is a bad thing? I agree with others who have said speed of service is great, and sitting out by the yarra... what more could you ask for?

The Venue, Location and Staff are great (Yes, including you Brendan and your fellow crowdies).
The 2 things that make it suffer and i removed a point for each is....
1) The crowd; its it basically a suit and tie crowd, so kind of dull
2) The fact that the bar is so mainstream, it borders a tourist sideshow.
Still, its good for a couple of beers on a hot summers night if you sit outside

A great place in summer and friday nights for after work drinks... Free entry and spacious inside although can get very packed esp. friday nights. Friendly staff too! Great venue!

Look - If you've never been to Melbourne before this is a good place to start - however, It's a bit of a tourist trap. Huge range of beer, and provided you've not a suit - the staff are lovely - however there's so many better, smaller, places with soul near by.

Ratman, you are a knob. This place is not wickedly over-priced unless or course you plan on drinking shots, spirits and yaga bombs all night. In terms of beer and bourbon, this place has normal prices around the $3.00 mark for a beer. They have more imported beers and drinks than any other place I know, you can also get beers bigger than pints! This place is pretty huge and theres also a transit lounge section up top. Anyone planning on going there sometimes there is a huge line at the front, tip * go around the back and walk straight in from the outside area, some people are morons and have no brains and line up at the front, sheesh!

Great Friday night crowd, absolutely buzzing with a nice chill out mezanine/balcony. Had to wait a while for drinks, not to be unexpected with a crowd though, and the trek to the toilets is a plan ahead event if your on the other side of the bar. Good range of beers too.

This place really is sensational. Located right in the heart of the city in fed square. The alcohol range is fantasic, prices are normal. $8 for a lucky dip can win you a $40 bottle of alochol, chances are great. Gets packed but doesnt get too overcrowded like elephant n wheelbarrow or Bridie O reileys. Furthermore, the other great thing about it is you never have to wait for long at the bar, the service is really terrific. Also this place got voted one of the best places in Melbourne to dine for and feast on a nice meal. Overall I would say a really underated large indoor/outdoor summer style pub with great beer and women! (there's one for the guys)
