The kind of pub everyone wishes they had as a local. The Terminus' owners have worked wonders with this casual establishment.
The decor is an incredible array of salvaged oddities: a glowing Niagara Falls guards the doorway out of the velvet-draped front bar.
The backroom is decorated with odds and ends I'm sure my grandmother used to own.
The women's toilets are a special delight as they are adorned with textured wallpaper found by the owners in the depths of Tasmania.
Underneath flaming light fixtures, regulars chomp on reasonably priced meals or down specialty shooters (the favorites are the prairie dog, which involves a shot of tequila with nine drops of Tabasco sauce, and the less severe Stoli and peppermint schnapps).
The regulars get a head start on their twilight years when they gather for bingo Terminus-style on Wednesday nights.
The beer garden is furnished with plenty of seating under a perspex roof.
