Like some grand temple to hedonism, the Tatou experience defies any conventional description.

With three levels of dancing, bar culture and drinking, it caters for all entertainment tastes.

From the ground floor bistro-style restaurant that serves snacks all night long through to the mad dancing on the first floor and the cruisier bar scene on the second floor, Tatou has all the bases covered.

The first floor itself displays an amazing array of styles. Pool tables and a horseshoe-shaped bar are separated by high archways from a large dance floor and a long bar decorated with an assortment of knick-knacks. Even the amenities are decadent with sleek black tiles and leather couches.

On Friday and Saturday nights, all sections are crammed with office workers partying away the working week's tension with little on their mind except a great time.

You'll need to dress smart casual with leather shoes to get past the bouncers.

WHAT A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CROWD!!!!!!!! Shame as the set up of the venue is great and tasteful, it would be an ideal party vibe and atmosphere...alas the only atmosphere created was by the inbreds who delighted in pouring other patrons drinks over themselves, doing hoon laps around the club knocking into and over anyone in their way oh and of course how could I not mention the grunting and throwing drinks at girls to "get some attention".

Back in 2002 this place used to be a really good R&B club. The place was alive, people were dancing, and I remember it used to get full very quickly. All in all, the club scene in this place was excellent and I wish it never changed.
It's a shame it closed down, anyone know what happened to it?

Has long since split into two venues, one the Fiddler, being a lively Irish Bar generally catering to a young crowd, with cheap beer, cover bands and pub grub, while another entrance in the laneway leads you up to Bubble, an all night club for wide-eyed ravers.

Ignore uninformed comment above. You must experience this place for yourself. Of course, if, LIke Dave, you take a bad attitude with you, then no place is gonna be good enough. Tatou is fantastic, and keeps getting better. A fantastic night out.
