Carrying the colors and name of the coffee company that runs the chain, Segafredo specialises in cocoa bean beverages, serving several blends unavailable elsewhere in Australia.
Located in bustling Hardware Lane, Segafredo offers good, solid food and drink and is decorated in a solid red/white/black color scheme.
Red and chrome tables and chairs spill out into the lane while inside the seating and service areas are on two different levels as the shop front heads up the hill.
The large mirror behind the bar enhances the natural light which pours in through the huge windows.
Traditional Italian food is served throughout the day and the bar's alcohol emphasis is on wine including, naturally, a few Italian labels.
Due to the high percentage of office worker custom, Segafredo is open only until the early evenings.

The service is impeccable, staff are always on the ball and eager to make you feel welcome and the atmosphere is extremely pleasant. 5/5 guritas - 05/05/06 Their price for a cup of decaff coffee (flat white, latte etc.) is $1.50 more expensive than their normal coffee.
