This small bar has unobtrusively built a clientele of students and young arty types.

Its success surely lies with its happy, casual atmosphere and value-for-money drinks. The bar staff are often as concerned with the turntables as with pouring drinks, for it's up to them to play music from the huge collection of LPs.

There are a few armchairs at the back under the drying roses, with the rest of the area stuffed with chairs and stools.

It can be very difficult to find any room in here after work (when I said it was small, I wasn't kidding). The only food served here is the Rue Bebelon roll (a choice of meats with salad).

A collection of soccer trophies on the back wall is indicative of the European influence throughout.

used to love this bar. Some jerk bought it, upped the prices and is living off the record collection. give it a big miss, this place is lame now. Heartbreaking shame.

one of the best bars in melbourne.

good chilled out atmosphere with awesome tunes, and a great range of beers.

if you want somewhere to hangout with friends and down a few bevs, then rue bebs is for you!
