Walking into Rrose Bar feels like coming home. As you enter, the large welcoming bar greets you with the hospitable service instantly apparent. It is great to find a nice, clean bar with a friendly local vibe. There is a back room with beautiful wooden booths, and a cosy beer garden beyond. There is an impressive array of spirits and liqueurs and the house cocktail list is inventive and inspirational. They do a rotating selection of wines by the glass, and many by the bottle.
Rrose secures some of Melbourne's best live acts and DJs. The tone is conversational, and then late in the night the mood lifts. For those of us who like to stay for quite a few rounds, the bar menu is great. As the last kitchen to close in the area, you can still eat at Rrose until 1am with nothing over $12. A night out at Rrose Bar was like visiting a valued and close friend. Delivering five star service with a local price, this is a bar to return to, where your favourite cocktail will always be right.

As the reviews says, "Going to Rrose is like coming home". There's always a friendly atmosphere and the music is great.
When it's not too busy, challenge the bar staff to make you a customised drink. The result is invariable something fantastic.
Watch out: Rrose gets very busy on friday nights.

Great atmoshpere, great staff - not sure what you want ask 'em the really know their stuff. Been going there for about 5 years, doesn't matter what night of the week the conversational feel never dips.
Doesn't matter if it's a function or you treat the place as your longe room - they're always solid, you're always welcome.

Kerri must be on the gear. This is one of the best bars in Melbourne. Mountain Goat Beer is on tap as well!

Love this bar. Chill and unpretentious - which can be a welcome relief from many of the bars that are only a couple of k's away in the city.
