Situated above the renowned music store, this bar is popular throughout the day and night.

The front half is only open at night and is used for live acts. DJs play both here and out the back. The large, hall-like room at the back houses rows of recycled couches, but a real highlight is the retro entertainment that extends to include a brown felt pool table.

The piece de resistance, however, is a Six Million Dollar Man pinball machine. Low-hanging lampshades throw red light across the Warhol-esque wallpaper and at the far end a small kitchen serves reasonably priced Thai food.

You have to wonder what Revolver's management is so concerned about. For a relaxed, friendly place such as this, cages feature quite prominently.

The cashier (there is a cover charge most nights) is in one, as is the cloak room and the spirit and wine racks rising high above the bar are another giant cage. Are they worried their employees might escape?

They should have a drug rehab place next door this revolver joint is a bloody discrace. Every one you meet in there wants to tell you how fucked up there life is i guess if your at a very low point in your lfe escaping at revolver is a good thing.

Revolter is a filthy shit hole! Some bands may be okay but the joint is filth.
If you are a scum bag bogan that loves dodgy cnuts and the smell of shit then u will love it.
Stay away if you live somewhere slightly classier than Werribee is my suggestion.

Pretty chilled out,
though the decor is looking a little worse for wear.
Still the best place for an epic weekend bender as its open 24hours fri-sun.
I'd even go as far as to recommend trying the thai food there, a discount for students. pretty reasonable.

It's a wicked place that i'm proud to call my second home. Many might find the place dodgy, but we really don't want them there anyway. Some of the finest DJ's Melbourne has to offer are there and the people are mixed from friendly to super friendly!

Wednesday nights are awesome!! They play a mix of rock, funk and classic electro stuff.. Really cool place with a good looking crowd. Revolver shouldn't be judged on Sundays alone..there's is so much more to the place..I've seen some great bands play like Jet etc..and the Thai resteraunt is cool..

My favourite place in Melbourne. Wicked music, friendly people to talk to left right and centre and if u can't be bothered chatting you don't have too which is always good. The best thing about this place is the couches. I look forward to kicking back 7am sunday mornings at revolver. Ive met some very interesting characters their over the past 2 years. The only thing that is annoying is the trashbags that think they r so cool for being a trashbag..... but hey u get that everywhere these days!

Revolver has been a favourite of mine for 8 years. People go there just to have a great time. Ace for a night out and gorgeous for a lazy drink and a game of pool during the day. Always open and always welcoming, Revolver is brilliant.

Revolver is a junkies paradise. It seems that just about everyone there is high on something and there seems to be unusual numbers of people ONLY drinking water.. wonder why eh? hehe..

The venue has a very alternative crowd. It's dark and big. There seem to be a lot of people who love revolver but it most certainly isn't my scene.

Revolver is one of my favourite places to go. driving round the city at 5am- it's still open and still going hard- really great place to chill and dance- then at 8am when you decide to leave Hungry Jacks is just down the road- WICKED
