There are currently no specials on offer.
Its a run-down multi-level venue that plays 80s music. Its always full, yet they refuse to open up the top level to provide uncrowded areas. (Top floor has small scattered rooms with couches and a small harder rock dance room). They pack the place to the rafters, charge $15 to enter, and refuse to provide air-conditioning. The heat is unbearable and everyone is dripping with sweat, but there is little cooling and the cooling they do have they refuse to turn on (on the basis that if you are hot, you will drink more). At $10 per drink, and $15 cover charge, it definitely isn't a cheap or comfortable night out. Combined with long queues to enter, its only fun for people who are soooo drunk they would have a blast anywhere, of which there are a lot of. It actually used to be a cheap and fun venue a few years ago.

Ended up getting dragged *SOBER* after our staff party to Retro, stayed sober and HAD A BLAST!!! Awesome dancing music, not sleezy and good service. Want a great place to cap off you night head to Retro!

Went there two weeks in a row recently and had a ball on both occasions. It takes a while to get in so best advice is to get there early. A great variety of beers on tap as well and plus you can't go wrong to an 80's soundtrack!

Dark, Dirty and Dingy? thats that whole point of Retro. Great place to dance once you've consumed enough alcohol, Awesome music, security are cool and different people there every week.

Dark, dirty, dingy, this place is a dive - really down at heel. You have to wait for ages at the door. Most places are way better and you don't have to wait nearly as long to get in.

went on a saturday night, and even though i loved most of the music, it was so dirty and your feet stick to the ground! extremely long wait at the door if your not there really early..not really worth the trouble

I had an awesome night out there, top 40 hits downstairs and remixed 80's and 90's hits upstairs, open till 5am, the real party starts around 11pm, then the dance floor fills.. an great night out for all you 80s and 90s fans.

best NIGHT of my life,,,,,omg this place is so good the people are awesome and the drinks where cheap never had such a good night in a while! $2.00 Jaga bombs YAY
