Perched overlooking Albert Park Lake, The Point has one of the best views from any bar in Melbourne. Its huge windows give a close view of ducks, swans and sailors while letting in an abundance of natural light.
In summer, there is a proliferation of tables and chairs outside. Inside, there is table service or else you can sit on a stool along the long wood and steel bench in front of the bar. Either way, your view of the activity on the lake will be unadulterated.
The Point is busiest at lunchtimes, especially for business lunches, and on weekends. The bar range is pretty standard although The Point chardonnay is particularly popular and the cigar range is excellent.
Upstairs has a restaurant and function centre and their elevated position ensures both have stunning views.
