HAHAHA oh golly, im not an annorexic mole with too much make up, im not a little rich girl, i have a certain standard when it comes to my personal HYGEINE and my appearance but hardly a pretenteous skank, and i've never had an issue with getting in... i prefer places like motel because if i lower my standards for even a minute ill end up in billboards (or somewhere equally as tragic) and innevitably end up being death stared by all the fat, outter suburban slappers that are clearly jealous of my ability to speak properly and maintain composure after a few champagnes. get over yourselves bogans.

despite me rating this club an never been there before i just wanted to make a note to those who are complaning about not getting in an that u need to dress nicely etc! WELL have you people not realised that majority of club/bars are in fact looking for those who are dressed neatly an a little up town simply because they dont want slobs in there venues!! an to the guys who arent getting let in, did u ever think that theres already enough guys inside? and please think of the chicks who dont want to be walkin around consistantly being stared at by men! thanks ive had my say! =D

never had a problem getting in. they reject groups of guys. if you come in with more males than females u will not get in. If you are poorly presented you will not get in, go to a pub or frost bites instead.

The club should be ashamed of it self from reading all the feedback I wouldn't and couldn't be botherd even thinking about going there I'm a model and club's like this put me off going out.
What happend to anti-Discrimination laws on people ??? beauty is more important on the inside SO this club needs to start CHILLING OUT....

I don't have troubles getting in, but I must concur that the door policy and door man need to learn some manners and get some class and style.
I have had friends knocked back in a rude way when they are dressed nice and they are not ugly schmoes.
In summary, Motel can go kiss my hairy ass.

LOL. This is hilarious! So many comments knocking the motel. One wonders why they bother? I mean if I got knocked back from a club, I wouldn't go back again. It means I'm not wanted, right? Go find somewhere else. Sadly most of these negative comments come from rival clubs promoters who are trying to knock off the top dog ;)

Motel is awesome. We always have a mad time there.
If the boucers tell you its members only, its a nice way of knocking you back. They are fussy about who they let through the doors, but thats what makes it so good!!!
Girls get into clubs heaps easier then guys no matter where you go. Staff are wonderful, bartenders rock!

there is only one part that is members only, the rest of motel is easy to get in to on a saturday nights! I was there last saturday and i had a great night. One of the only clubs you can go to when it's really hot because the upper level is half inside and half a rooftop area outside!

Well i have never been to the venue and i dont intend on going....I have tried to get in with my friends and as soon as we get to the door the bouncer tells us its members only..
I mean why is it only members on a Saturday...What happens if the clubs members decide to go elsewhere on a Saturday night and then all because of all of the knockbacks no body goes there anymore then they would have to close the joint.
Good I say...it serves them right....this is the only club where me and my friends have not been let in....I have never been to a place where the security is so rude and aggragant towards females....Unless Motel is now a gay club i dont know.
Anyway thats it from me......hope you close down soon and when you want to go to a club they tell you that its members only and dont let you in.

im reading comments and have never been to this club but am going to go. In general, women get into clubs more easily than men. My safe guard is come with a bunch of hot women or know people, bouncers, promoters etc.

Best place to go on Friday night in Summer. Fairly pretentious, but the good tunes and the awesome outside area make up for that. I've never had a problem with security, but I have heard other peoples stories...I guess that's just what you get when they want to keep the standard high. 5/5!

Went there in the summer wat a perfect venue & set up, got there extremely late still managed 2 get in even with larger guy ratio, security were good to my mates and i, no dramas, been there a couple times since good but def cant w8 til summer again!

A great venue, stylish and funky with good lighting. Not too expensive, but some of the women are wannabe supermodels who will push past people even when there isn't a big crowd. attractive women but (some) with too much makeup and snobby attitudes. A fun place to go out with friends. I didn't find any problems with the security.

Gotta agree with the arrogance of the security, not a place to head with a group of people if you want them all to get in. Very picky and often strangely turns to a 'member's only ' night if the wrong person walks up to the line.

It used to be my favorite place on a Fri or Sat night, I knew prety much everyone there but I heard it has changed quite a lot in the last 12 months. Perhaps I should go back for a visit and hopefuly they guys will let me in.

Good venue, better on sunday night but does get very busy. Security are very arrogant, only downer but otherwise good place with a good crowd.
