In this old antique shop, the Hideout's owners have created a fairytale bar.
If Alice had come across a drinking establishment during her travels in Wonderland, it would have been the Hideout. The hotchpotch of brightly colored, mismatched furniture combines with the cushioned bar and cartoon portraits of "the Hideout family" to generate a funky, fun atmosphere.
The spacious interior is furnished with rows of booths that seat groups from two to eight.
A function room with a larger table is in a separate area at the back.
Skylights in the high ceiling keeps the area well lit, although the day-glo paint on the wall past the kitchen doesn't need any further illumination.
Woodheaters warm the area right through the night (while the Hideout's bar closes at 3am on Fridays and Saturdays the rest of the menu is served 24 hours a day on weekends).
The bar features an array of cocktails, including weekly specials - perfect for a quick selection if you're late for a very important date.
Kerrianne - 03/05/06 I went to this restaurant last year and it ruined my friend's 23rd birthday party. After almost 2 hours of waiting (mind you there were only about 3 tables occupied), we didn't receive our food and after a rude comment by a waiter we decided to leave. As we left, we were literally told by a female manager to 'go F**k off then!". I was shocked.
SInce then, I've heard other negative comments about this place.
