Attached to the Bistro One restaurant, Express Bar serves good value food, although the preparation time means it doesn't come as quickly as the name implies. The professional staff are equally happy to provide just drinks if that's your desire.
The mainstay of the decor is dark timber, from the boxed display behind the bar to the tables and chairs, with steel stools by the bar. The back wall is dominated by a huge fingerprint while the side walls are more colonial: a line of horns runs down the wall. Ambient jazz provides a quiet backdrop for conversation among the suited office workers who come here for a Campari and soda at the end of the day. Twenty-five wines are served by the glass.
