MOVING in to its 12th year, the pretension-free Deco Wine Bar continues to provide everything a classic Melbourne bar should.
Combined with the prettiest flower and herb-filled beer garden in Melbourne, Deco's simple philosophy of great product, warm and knowledgeable staff and luxurious Art Deco ambience continues to give you what you deserve.
Over 40 beers including oddities like English Ales, German lagers, Belgian classics, loads of Australian microbreweries and old classics.
Ten Champagnes including Dom Perignon and Krug back up a reserve wine list of rare and classic wines from around the world.
Noble Scotch Whiskies include vintage Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Talisker, Balvenie, Glenlivet as well as Australian and Japanese examples.
Heaps of fortifieds, a well thought out range of spirits and liqueurs and the cocktail list is crammed with classics.
The music is funky and eclectic, the lighting is low, the furniture is comfortable, the crowd is always civilized and the staff know what they are talking about.
What else could you possibly want?

Deco's beer garden is great... like a secret garden with herbs and flowers and blankets to wrap up in on autumn/winter nights. Only wish I lived closer. They seem to have a wnaker-free policy/philosophy too.

This place has everything a grown-up bar-fly with a taste for good booze and pretension-free bars could want.
Over 40 beers including Belgian oddities like chocolate, passionfruit and apple, Chimays, Leffes, La Guillotines and Delerium Tremmens', loads of microbreweries including Red Duck, Little Creatures and Mountain Goat, old classics like Asahi, Hoegaarden, Stella, Coopers,Baogs and Carlton.
A list of rare and classic wines from Australia, France, Italy, Chile, New Zealand, and Argentina; from Grange to Barolos to great Bordeaux to $30 steals.
Plenty of Whisky including the owners favourite dram - 16 yr old Lagavulin, Glenlivet, Abunadh, Bowmore and more
Heaps of fortifieds, other spirits and liquers and if course champagnes. The cocktail list is four pages long.
The music is funky and eclectic, the lighting is low and the staff know what they are talking about.
What else dya want.
