The Collins Quarter is the latest enterprise by bar afficionado Vernon Chalker.
Step through the 19th century Victorian terrace entrance on Collins Street into a world of decadence.

Colins Quarter is broken down into four distinct sections.
Colins Pub is the reformation of the old Dr Martins Tavern, a Melbourne institution in its hey day. Dr Martin would be happy himself with the transformation. This leads through to the Magnolia Courtyard with its very own retractable glass roof. Perfect for the unpredictable Melbourne weather.
On the other side of the courtyard is Blind Alley Bar with its very own entrance leading through to Lt Collins St. The jewel in this crown, however, is the very fancy cocktail lounge RA, with over 500 independent glass louvres, which overlooks the courtyard.

Lunch and dinner are both on offer with an amazing 'gastro pub' food offering. Drinks are as varied from pots of beer to magnums of vintage champagne.

Needless, to say there is something for everyone.

A great little bar hidden @ the top of Collins st, not as snobby as some further down & definitely something for everyone.

Lychee martini's are wonderful here, def recomend!

This place is dreadful. Our work Christmas function was a disaster. Virtually no food and useless service. Everyone was starving and irritated. Never again. Stay away.

I was there this last Friday nite, and I had a blast! The staff was friendly, and upbeat! I had a great time sitting in the courtyard under the fairly lights at night, and I felt so far away from the city even though I was right in the center. I will definately be going back!

Great stuff, was there last Friday night and had a blast, was full as a fat ladys sock after the bbq they had on for customers, cheers to the staff on friendly service.

I love this place! Have not seen a better beer garden in Melbourne and it's in the heart of the city! Fantastic food, great wine, attentive and fun staff and a fabulous atmosphere. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Could not think of a better place in the city to relax on a summer evening or lunch with a group of friends. Will definatly return.

This place was terrible. service abysmal ( we waited 1.5 hours ) and there was no apology, only the inference that we did something wrong by not telling them that people had to leave by 2pm, when we pre ordered for our meals to be there by 1pm.
