A typically hard-to-find city bar, the entrance is actually down a laneway among rather down-at-heel surroundings.

Lucky then that the interior and staff are so friendly and tolerable. Barmen in hoodies and other casual attire not only serve the drinks but spin the "funk soul" to a crowd who, with only limited space at their disposal, cannot help but get intimate.

A small dancefloor is located at the bar's end for the more adventurous but, if you're just in the mood for a quiet drink in low-lit underground surroundings, this is your place. Reid Sexton

Not bad, great music, sticky carpet, really pissed off about the WARM drinks!!! And suprisingly an allsorts crowd from young kids in lil pink skirts to indie types - what the??? Come late when it all kicks in...

i wanted rock, fuck me, did i get it? yes. this is the place for all you mad acdc, zeppelin etc fans who just want to listen to the music, enjoy the beer and not have to worry about what you look like. get there, quick!
