I agree. The venue was a great place to visit. Older Mature crowd. I think its great that they don't do any under 25 birthdays. Keeps all the trouble teenies out.

I thought this place was excellent. It was one place where it wasn't full of teenie boppers. Crowd was very mature and all there to have a great time.

Really pleasant place, great music, mature crowd, down to earth. Shame on the front face of the lounge... minus points for the rudeness of the manager/owner(i assume)and the so very loving bouncers, having to face that first thing walking in somewhere isn't the ultimate way of starting a good night.

I went there for my friends 30th birthday and thought that this venue was just awesome. The crowd was just great. Ive never been to a place where i felt so comfortable being at. The staff were so friendly and even having a laugh with me and my friends. The music was also really impressive. I would definately recommend this bar to anyone. Seriously, everyone should check it out.

i had my 22nd birthday here a couple years ago and i will never go back. The manager was a asshole. I had a guest list and a few people didnt rock up and other ppl which i didnt expect rocked up. They were refusing to let my guests in. I had a mate get kicked out. I was not impressed.

No idea why this place is still open.
It widely known across the Melbourne bar scene to have horrible staff who can't mix a drink to save themselves, A terrible DJ, and zero vibe.
save your time and $$$$$

I visited the CL on sat 10/3/07 to celebrate a friends bday. The music was terrible and the bar staff and manager/owner were rude. They tried to make a mohito in a half full scotch glass - what the? I have had mohitos in Lily Blacks and overseas and they are served in a tall glass everytime. After refusing to pay the manager threatened us and got his bouncers to force us out of the bar.I will never return there and have told all my friends about this incident its disgraceful!

Really not impressed. Tiny dance floor and the bouncer tried to charge us an entry fee even though we were on a guest list.

Fun night - no lines at all (we got there about 10 on friday) but it was still busy, awesome music, couldn't get off the dance floor. Cute barstaff, nice champagne - just a really fun place!! Will definately be there again.

Its ok. we had a good time but were also knocked back at the door and had to wait in line for about half an hour even though our names were put on the guest list for a birthday. Not Happy!

great club just hard to get in. Is there any way of becomming a member so as to gaurenteed entry.Being knocked back after travelling fourty five minutes to get there is frustrating. kind regards micky.
