Set in the ground floor of Rydges Hotel, this bar features some of the best clean, modern design around.
The entire bar is exceptionally bright, thanks to the all-glass exterior walls. The open bar sits in the centre of this wide, uncluttered space with a mountain of bottles rising from it.
Thin strips of blue neon trace around the ceiling panels, but they are high enough that they're barely noticeable from inside. Timber features heavily without weighing down the appearance, mainly because it's usually placed with polished metal like along the front of the bar or in the panels at the back.
The furniture ranges from plain chairs and stools in the front to more comfortable brightly-colored armchairs at the rear. There is a restaurant attached but you can order food at the bar, which is pleasantly priced for a major hotel chain.
