A real barfinder crew favorite, "The Belgian" is a beer drinkers' dream. It has a range of Belgian beers, both on tap and in bottle. Spirits and domestic beers are available, but be prepared to be talked out of your choice by the enthusiastic and friendly staff.
The crowd is quite varied, with a broad section of society on show. You're unlikely to see so many people of both genders all drinking beer in any other venue.
More recently an outdoor bar has been set-up, often complemented by a live jazz band on weekends in Summer, which has proved an outstanding success for a bar that many thought couldn't get any better.
